Fifteen years ago I started this band, but that was not my first foray into music. I got my start doing talent shows playing piano and singing, and at the age of fifteen I joined my first band, “Macaroni”. From the first time I took the stage I knew that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I played with everyone who had the patience enough to play with me, learned the guitar and played in coffee shops and on street corners for anyone who might listen or give me a dollar. I played in classic garage bands like Waiting for George, Second Hand Rose, Bob White and the Allstars, Troy and Bob, Fuzzymoto, The Kickbacks, Good Luck Shark, The Three Piece Band, Code Three Club, The Hammer and the Fire, and as a solo act. Even with all this experience under my belt, I never let go of my connection to the Humble Hooligans, and it continues to create opportunities.

Through the years I added to my musical abilities, learning whistles, bodhran, tenor banjo, mandolin, harmonica, octave mandolin, mandolin, saxophone, and most recently mandocello. Each one giving me an opportunity to create music that was intrinsically me, intrinsically “Humble Hooligan”, and time and time again, have been given the opportunity to perform it for all of our fans, friends, and family. I’ve been blessed to play with some of the best musicians I have ever seen, and played with and opened for some of the biggest musical acts the world over including The Beach Boys, The Mahones, The Young Dubliners, Story of the Year, The Tossers, Gaelic Storm, and many others.

I’ve been blessed to create music that I love to play, and get to experience the effect of that music on the faces of the people we play for. This year we will release two more full length albums, the first of which is almost finished and getting ready for release, they will be album six and album seven, and I’m so proud of what we have done and excited to share it all with you. Thank you for all of the years of support. I look forward to playing for you for another fifteen years!
